'Moving to Mastery' - Alfa Laval India Organised 4th All India Annual Distributors Meet 2016 in Pune

In line with Alfa Laval’s 'two ways to market strategy' which aims at distribution growth, Alfa Laval India organized its 4th Annual Distributor’s Meet on 26th February, 2016 in Pune. This year six new distributors, who joined Alfa Laval network of distributors in India, participated in the event.

Connecting to the distribution event theme of 2015 - 'Explore the Potential. Spread' symbolised by the Indian national bird Peacock spreading its tail feathers, this year the connecting theme was 'Moving to Mastery' with the eye of the Peacock symbolizing the focus on the market and our customers. 

Mr Lars Dithmer Managing Director, Alfa Laval India, presented the Alfa Laval India business focus and the opportunities represented by the food and energy sectors as well as areas for efficient use and re-use of water. In the address to the distributors, Lars stated, "The distributor meet is an excellent opportunity for us to communicate priorities - and provides a good platform for dialogue between Alfa Laval and the distributors, as well as between the distributors. I am looking forward to see the outcome in terms of business growth - and to see our distributors at our 2017 Meet."

Kumud Jhamb, Vice President, Equipment Division India, talked about the vision for the business and Alfa Laval's product portfolio offerings to optimize customers' processes time and time again. A special emphasis was given to Alfa Laval's portfolio of Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers.

Showcasing Alfa Laval's service offerings, the Alfa Laval 360 degree service portfolio was also presented to the distributors, highlighting how Alfa Laval can address customers' requirements for service. With an aim to serve customers even better, the distributors participated in a communications workshop where the opportunities for varied digital marketing channels and web interfaces for the business were discussed.

The highlight of the event was an interactive Q&A session with the distributors, and an award function for the top performing distributors.

Since the introduction of the distributor network, Alfa Laval India is now expanding its presence in the country. In this meet, 60 representatives from India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka participated.
