Signature Startup Masterclass is a celebration of the real life success stories and provides a unique platform to passionate individuals who are looking for the right inspiration and guidance by giving them an opportunity to hear their icons share the story of how they managed to successfully convert their passion into paycheck.

During the Masterclass session Amish shared the story how he dreamed of being a historian, but being a pragmatist, the IIM Kolkata graduate decided to pursue a career in finance that seemed more stable. The success of his debut book, 'The Immortals of Meluha' from the Shiva Trilogy, encouraged him to give up a fourteen-year-old career in financial services to focus on writing.

The Shiva Trilogy (The Immortals of Meluha, The Secret of the Nagas and The Oath of the Vayuputras) and The Ram Chandra Series (Scion of Ikshvaku, other titles to follow) has sold 3.5 million copies in the Indian subcontinent since 2010, with gross retail sales of over Rs. 100 crores, making the Shiva Trilogy the fastest selling books series in Indian publishing history. The Scion of Ikshvaku, the first book of the Ram Chandra Series, was the highest selling book of 2015. The Indian language translations of Amish's books have sold 5 lakh copies.
