James Brown Arena is a part of the well known multipurpose complex The Augusta Entertainment Complex located in Augusta. Previously known as the Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center, the place has been renamed in the memory of musician James Brown. The arena contains accommodation of around 8,500 seats. Starting from AV to the modern stage, floor, dressing rooms, the center offers all of them. James Brown Arena has the record to host major events like the Augusta River Hawks of the Southern Professional Hockey League in year 2010.
