I stopped In Bad Pyrmont on a whim. Anna Karenina is one of my favourite books. I am in love with Varanka, and I am fascinated with the healing history and the famous figures who have flocked to spa towns in Germany for centuries. Instead of spending my first night in Hameln, I ended up here. I saw a restaurant on Brunnenplatz, with a nice patio in the heart of the midday sun, and a plaque on a wall recognizing Tsar Peter the great had stayed in the building some three hundred years ago.
