Walther Boecker (* 1952 in Bonn ) is a German local politician of the SPD . He is since October 1999 a full-time mayor of the city Huerth .Boecker, son of a social court director and a teacher, grew up in Cologne on. After graduating from the Cologne Johann-Gottfried-Herder-Gymnasium, he studied in the 1970s jurisprudence . In the 1980s he worked as a lawyer admitted, then soon working as a municipal official in the city of Cologne and last. as deputy head of the Office of Urban Renewal.
