Very strict policy enforced that they will not check you into a room until after 1pm! And even after that we went to check in (2) times and the room was still not ready. We also requested a room with a view. However, when we went to pick up our keys the room, was still not available at 4pm and we were told that we were upgraded to a larger room (a corner room), but it did not have a view. The desk clerk changed the room and we were given a room on the 9th floor in the South Tower with a view straight out to ocean. Room was nothing to write home about. This is not the normal place we stay at when we travel to Atlantic City. There were food service trays lining the hallway when we walked the hall to our room. The hallways were also freezing. I know that the Trop just completed a renovation, but the South Tower aren't where these rooms are located. Quite the disappointment. The Trop is a very busy hotel and casino.
