The hotel is in a good location in Auckland being conveniently located near the major shopping, dining and major tourist attractions. I found the hotel was maintained very well. The pool was very clean and accessible. The room I also found in excellent condition and room service was great. I gave the hotel an average rating however as my experience leading up to the stay and checkout was not as straight-forward as I would expect for a hotel of this class. In the days leading up to the stay I tried to call the hotel to arrange an airport transfer as they advertise on the site. The operator had to try on multiple occasions to get in touch with concierge only to have the call ring and then transfer back. I finally was given access to someone who took my details and stated they would call back only to never hear from them. A follow-up email also went unanswered.
