Located at the heart of Bristol’s creative quarter and below Bristol’s celebrated Bocabar, Paintworks Event Space plays hosts to a huge range of cultural and social events. Offering a varied and interesting programme of public events all year round, it hosts regular solo and collective art shows, food markets, theatre, vintage and wedding fairs, Final Year exhibitions, music nights and evening parties.The Event Space makes for a stunning Exhibition venue and has played host to some of Bristol's most notable exhibitions over the past six years. From fantastic solo exhibitions to large collective shows, these are just a few of our recent exhibitions: The Sunday Times 50th Anniversary Photography exhibition, Barry Cawston Avonmouth to Amazon, Kathryn Thomas Light Years, Carol Peace 2006 and 2008, Dreweatts Urban Art, Bristol Contemporary Open, Graffle Raffle, UWE and Jimmy Galvin & Alison Black. It is also the home of Love Food Festival, Something Old Vintage Wedding fair and the Vintage Home Show.Also known as Bristol’s most flexible venue, the venue can be hired for private events, including conferences, weddings, fashion shows and product launches.Located off the Bath Road, Paintworks is only a stone’s throw from the wonderful, historic Arnos Vale Cemetery, Bristol Blue Glass and the award winning Tarr’s ice cream!
