Parque Das Nacoes

Panorama!

The conference venue is located in Parque das Nacoes, which is the modern part of the city that was built for the Expo in 1998. It is a great place to go for a walk along the river Tejo and enjoy modern architecture. But when in Lisbon, you should also definitely visit the historical center. For example, visit Miradouro de Santa Luzia above the historical neighborhood of Alfama to enjoy a stunning view of the river Tejo and the Alfama neighborhood below with its labyrinth of narrow streets and small houses. Alfama is also a great place to enjoy traditional Portuguese music in one of the many Fado restaurants. You may also enjoy a ride in a historical tram, whose net covers the historical center of the Lisbon.
