The Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science established on July, 29 1876 is one of the finest autonomous institution and the oldest research institute in India as a whole. The institute is solely devoted to the quest of research including the areas of chemistry, physics, energy, biology, polymer and other materials. In each of the departments Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science raises juvenile and pioneering research fellows in their doctorates. Till few decades this association was the only place in India where only elevated research on physical science dominated the other branches.
