As a result of the economic health of the city, and its commercial importance to the region, the Cintermex Expo and Convention Center has become a premier venue for conventions and exhibitions, hosting 15-20 events per month which attract almost three million visitors annually. With a Wi-Fi coverage footprint over 35,000 Sq Meters (377,000 Sq Ft) and daily attendance up to 10,000 visitors for large events, Cintermex was getting frequent complaints about the inadequacy of the wireless service. There were coverage dead spots, per-user performance was low, and users were losing connection while roaming between areas.
